    Explanation:

    Igneous rocks are formed from molten rocks (magma) upon there cooling.

    Sedimentary rocks are formed from sediments when they solidify, or through weathering or cementation on the surface of earth.

    Metamorphic rocks can be formed from both igneous and sedimentary rocks via changes in them or changes in temperature & pressure within the earth.
