Heterotrophs and autotrophs are linked on earth by the processes of cellular respiration and photosynthesis, respectively. why is this?

    In cellular respiration, heterotrophs take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. In photosynthesis, autotrophs take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen. They are linked by these processes.
