What phylum has animals with soft bodies, and most of them have shell-like coverings?

    The phylum Mollusca includes the: Oyster, Clam, Snail, chiton O ctopus, and Squid. The main part of the body is enclosed in a fold of tissue called the mantle. They have bilateral symmetry. Many kinds of mollusks are covered by a shell.
