Carbon is an important element because it composes all organic molecules. Carbon allows important molecules of life to be made. We always use items that have carbon atoms in this. Whether it is CO2, which we breathe out or the carbon that makes biological molecules. This is why there is a branch of science dedicated to it. Carbon is extremely useful because it allows for four bonds, which means that it is efficient.
