The right cerebral hemisphere 1. tends to be smaller than the left cerebral hemisphere. 2. is the dominant hemisphere for speech in most people. 3. is not connected to the left cerebral hemisphere. 4. contains no association areas. 5. receives sensory input from the left side of the body.

    The most studied hemisphere has been the left, since most studies suggest that it is the dominant hemisphere.

    It seems that the left hemisphere dominates on the right, and the right hemisphere on the left.

    But this does not mean that both left-handed and right-handed people cannot develop the non-dominant hemisphere better, since as previously stated both are connected.

    In fact, people who have a highly developed brain simultaneously use both hemispheres.
