cancer cells are cells that divide and reproduce abnormally with uncontrolled growth ... the stem cell theory of cancer proposes that among all cancerous cells, a few act as stem cells that reproduce and sustain the cancer, similar to normal stem cells normally renewing and sustaining our organs and tissues.
