    If all the infants are kept in the same nursery with the same nurses the newly admitted babies are expected to receive the infection of Proteus vulgaris. It is a rare newborn infection. The nurses are required to be replaced in the nursery as under observation the chances of their infection remains prominent. The bacteria makes its way through wounds and natural orifices.
