What is a prokaryote cell and a eukaryote cell? How are they different structurally? (identify examples)

A prokaryote cell is a cell that has no distinct nucleus with a membrane and neither does it have other specialized cell organelles.

A eukaryote cell is a cell in which genetic material is DNA in the form of chromosomes which are found within a distinct nucleus.

Examples of prokaryotes include Escherichia coli bacterium, streptococcus bacteria which causes strep sore throat and streptomyces soil bacteria from which the antibiotic streptomycin is derived.

Examples of eukaryotes include protozoa such as amoeba, fungi, plants and animals and all multicellular organisms.
