The major environmental effects of the agricultural revolution and the industrial revolution include deforestation, soil degradation, global warming, climate change, pollution, waste etc.

    Explanation:

The Agricultural Revolution results in agricultural development by introducing new farming techniques and inventions which led to a huge increase in food production. The major environmental effects of

the agricultural revolution includes deforestation, soil degradation, global warming, climate change, pollution, irrigation problems, and waste. An increase in the farmlands results in deforestation. Deforestation causes soil erosion and also results in global warming due to the increase in carbon dioxide. Global warming causes drastic changes in climatic conditions. The excess use of fertilizers and pesticides in agriculture causes water pollution and soil degradation.

The Industrial Revolution results in industrial development by introducing new industrial techniques and inventions like motor vehicles, factories, steam engines, etc which led to an increase in human living standards. As a result, the human population increases and causes the depletion of natural resources. The increase in the housing needs of humans and the construction of new factories and other infrastructures results in deforestation. The use of fossil fuels and other chemicals in factories causes air pollution, and the waste products released into the surrounding environment result in water pollution and soil degradation. Deforestation and the use of fossil fuels result in global warming and drastic changes in climatic conditions. Pollution and other environmental effects also results in the degradation of human health.
