Tropical zone: the tropical zone is located around the equator of the Earth. It is very hot and humid receiving plenty of rain and thunderstorms. They receive more of the sun's energy that any other of Earth's zones, making it the hottest.

Temperate zone: the North Temperate Zone is located between the Arctic Circle and the Tropic of Cancer, the South Temperate Zone is located between the Antarctic Circle and the Tropic of Capricorn. Temperate zones usually have their four seasons which vary greatly, but are never freezing cold or burning hot. It receives less of the sun's energy than the tropical zone, but more that the polar zones.

Polar zone: the polar zones are located at Earth's poles. They have below freezing temperatures, and are home to snowstorms. They receive the least amount of the sun's energy out of the zones, therefore are the coldest.

From that description we have the three climate zones of the earth,

The Polar which receives little-to-none sunlight energy which caused these areas to be extremely cold.

The Temperate areas are those with moderate temperatures where they experience both the ample hotness and coldness in temperature

The Tropical areas are those that are extremely radiated and shunned by the sunlight energy, with temperatures over 30 C and above.
