Explanation: Intertidal zone is a zone between the high and the low tide zone, It is located between the two zones.

It is a transitional zone between dry land and sea leading to oxygen losses, heat stress, and reduction in oxygen level. At a low tide the heat stress increases, the organism are able to adapt by decrease in surface area as a result of increase in body size which leads to reduction of water loss from its surface. Temperature also changes ranging from very hot to very cold, the organism adapt to physiological stress durinh cold stress while some could migrate to a warmer environment when too cold.

Organism found here included sea stars, snails, sea orchids, sea cucumber
