    Geology is the study of the rocks and similar substances that make up the earth's surface, it is also considered as the study of the rocks and physical processes of the Earth in order to understand its origin and history. On the other hand, Etymology the study of the origin and history of words, or a study of this type relating to one particular word and how their form and meaning have changed over time.
