This is a trauma patient secondary to motor vehicle accident. This patient presents with pelvic fractures and bilateral femoral fractures. This patient also presents with hypotension and tachycardia which is the early signs of shock. Pelvic fractures account for one of the most common causes of hidden massive internal hemorrhage. From this, the patient may have been suffering from hypovolemic shock secondary to massive blood loss. The patient should be transfused whole blood products as soon as possible; and be referred for an emergency operation to repair fractures and stop the bleeding.
