Under the Atlantic Ocean, there is a long, raised feature with jagged tops called the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The features of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge are similar to a mountain system. It starts at the tip of Greenland and runs down the middle of the Atlantic Ocean between North and South America on the West and Europe and Africa on the East. It ends at the southern tip of Africa. The Mid-Atlantic Ridge is the longest topographical feature found in the world.
