A client's mother asks the nurse, "when should my daughter have a pelvic examination?" which response by the nurse is most appropriate?

    The nurse should tell the client, that a pelvic exam at 18 to 20 years of age would make most sense. It's not neceassary to do such a form of exam before the daughter is grown up or has started to be sexually interested.
