Explain how the terms dermal tissue, root hair, stoma, guard cells, and cuticle are related

These are all related to the superficial layers of the body, commonly know as skin. The dermal tissue is the actual layers of tissue that combine to make skin. The root hair and stoma are embedded within those layers of the dermal tissue. The guard cells control levels of perspiration by opening and closing the stomata. The root hair forms the basis for any hair growth on the skin, from the head, chest, legs and crotch, any surface area of skin with hair. Finally, the cuticle is dead skin which is located around the nail bed and is there is a protective transition of skin from the dermal tissue to the nail.
