    Explanation: The foremen ovale makes it possible for blood to go from the vein to the right side of fetus heart, and then to the left side of the heart. Before a baby is born, the baby gets blood rich in oxygen from the mothers placenta, and its delivered through the umbilical cord, because the baby can not use its lungs to get blood.
