Bonnie and clyde have just found out that they both carry the recessive gene for sickle cell anemia. maria and manuel are first-time parents in their forties. who should be the most worried about having a baby with a genetic or chromosomal problem?

    I would say that Bonnie and Clyde have the most to worry about. If they have proof that they carry a gene that can cause a disorder, there is some likelihood that their offspring could get the disorder. Maria and Manuel do have some risk as well, since there are risks associated with having children in your 40's (for women). However Bonnie and Clyde have a greater chance of an issue.
