    B. Between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. the tropic of Cancer is a ring around the earth north of and parallel to the equator (it passes through Hawaii), and the Tropic of Capricorn is a ring around the earth equally far South of the equator. The area between the two rings is called the Tropics, and generally has a tropical climate.
