When analyzing the ice core, the scientists discovered that the carbon dioxide (CO2) levels in the atmosphere were much lower than they are now. Since CO2 is a greenhouse gas, what does the lower CO2 level in the past say about our current climate?

    That our current climate contains more greenhouse gases. This also shows how manufacturing effects the environment
