    Storage.

    Explanation:

In plants, a large central vacuole is usually found in a mature cell. It is lined with a membrane and filled with the cell sap. Cell sap acts as a store house for many substances including excretory products.

They are located in both animal and plant cells and are way larger in plant cells. Vacuoles stores food and different varieties of nutrients, a cell might need to survive. They can even store waste products so the rest of the cell is protected from contamination.
