What is a characteristic type of plant for each of the six land biomes

    1) Tundra - small perennial herbs, creeping willows, lichens and grasses

    2) Taiga - cone bearing trees like spruce, hemlock and fir.

    3) Tropical Rainforest - canopy, vines, palms, shrubs, ferns, mosses and fungi

    4) Desert - cactus, yucca, aloe and other desert cactus species

    5) Grassland - species of grasses: ryegrass, buffalo grass, wild oats and needlegrass.

    6) Deciduous Forest - oak, beech, ash, maple trees, wildflowers and berries
