You step outside without a jacket and it is cold outside. Your hypothalamus sends signals to make you shiver. This warms you up and you stop shivering. What type of control is this?

    Explanation:

    One function of the hypothalamus is to regulate body temperature known as homeostasis. Hypothalamus maintains the body temperature to a normal temperature of about 37°C. When you step out without the jacket in cold, your body temperature fall to 37°C. When the hypothalamus senses that you are too cold, it sends signals to your muscles that make you shiver and create warmth. This is called maintaining homeostasis.
