    DNA, the hereditary material contained in at least one chromosome and situated in a non-membrane bound nucleiod in prokaryotes and a layer bound core in eukaryotes. Apart from the DNA all the cells have cell organelles such as Ribosomes, the organelles on which protein amalgamation happens; cytoplasm; and plasma membrane.
