The biomass of a plant consists of all of its living tissues, including both the aboveground shoot system (stem and leaves) as well as the belowground roots. when a farmer combines wheat and essentially removes the aboveground stems, leaves, and grain, what would be a correct assessment of the biomass that is left in the field

    The only part of the plant that is left behind is the root so the answer is roots
