Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter of the central nervous system, this serves as a messenger between neurons to transmit or depolarize (active) the next one in order to serve a message. By block nicotinic acetylcholine receptors you are block nerve impulses, which can cause involuntary and voluntary muscle response, and go even into a respiratory failure.
