    Explanation;

    -Transverse plane or transaxial plane is an imaginary plane that divides the body into superior and inferior parts. It is perpendicular to the coronal plane and sagittal plane.

    -The transverse plane or axial plane is parallel to the ground and divides the body into cranial and caudal (head and tail) portions. Movement parallel to the waistline, otherwise known as rotational movement, occurs in the transverse plane.
