Cones are also called Strobili. In plant anatomy, it’s the mass of bracts and scales that usually have an oval outline. They contain the reproductive organs of those non-flowering plants. Cones are the usual feature of certain pines and conifers, club mosses, gymnosperms, and horsetails. Fronds, on the other hand, are a big divided leaf. The leaves of ferns can also be referred to as fronds, but it’s particularly a term for big leaves.
