3. Professor Emmanuel Basitee's daughter and her twelve-year-old brother saw the motion of a ball as it was falling from a height. Due to the fact that they are of the "physics type" just like their father, they started talking about the motion and made the following statement in the process. State whether each of the statements is true or false. Provide support for your claim. a. Once the ball hits the water, the forces are going to be balanced, and the ball will stop moving. b. Option a is false

    option b is false

    option c is true.

    Explanation:

When the ball hits the water, this is the action of the ball so according to newton's third law of motion which states that every action has always equal and opposite reaction. So the water also causes reaction on the ball and the ball bounce back in the opposite direction in which ball comes to water. The ball moves upward at a certain height and comes back to the water due to the force of gravity.
