How would an asthma attack most likely affect oxygen delivery in the body?

    Answer: Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of airways (nasal cavity, trachea, bronchiole). The disease manifests as recurrent attacks of wheezing, coughing and shortness of breath. The muscles surrounding the airways restricts the passage and there is a limiting amount of air supply to the body causing a choking sensation. As there is a natural defence mechanism in our body asthma induce the secretion of sputum and mucus, that leads to constrict the airways, making the asthma attack worse.

    As a result of loss of oxygen there is a condition called hypoxia and because of this there could be some serious issues related to the body depending upon the time interval of asthma. These can be
