The answer is gametophytes and sporophytes.

Mosses that reproduce with gametes are gametophytes, and those that reproduce with spores are sporophytes.

Mosses are nonvascular seedless plants. Their life cycle has alternation of generation - a haploid gametophyte and a diploid sporophyte. Gametophyte produces haploid gametes which fuse to form a diploid zygote. Therefore, gametophyte reproduces with gametes. The zygote grows into diploid sporophyte which produces haploid spores. Therefore, sporophyte reproduces with spores. The spores grow into gametophyte and the cycle begins again.
