A Spanish scientist observes that salmon produce more eggs when grown in warmer aquariums. He asks his colleague in the United States to conduct the same experiment using the same aquarium equipment. Should he expect the results to be similar?

    The Spanish scientist should bear in mind that the production of eggs of salmon is dependent on lots of factors apart from the temperature. These factors include type of water, nutrients, etc. If these factors are also set constant then, the scientist can expect the same result from his friend.
