How likely are low-birth weight (lbw) babies to die before 1 year of age as compared to normal infants?

    Birth weight that is less than 2500g would be a risk factor in mortality rate. The answer on this question would be that low birthweight would be less than half or around 20-40 percent for neonatal death compared to a normal infant.
