Explanation:

This is because one of the adverse effects of Corpus Callosotomy (removal of corpus callosum) is loss of awareness of one side of the body in relation to another.

Thus after the callosotomy, the left hemisphere is isolated from the right hemisphere. Therefore processing of sensory stimuli from the right hemisphere is not reaching the left hemisphere The interpreter (the patients) is therefore not aware of the stimuli processing from right - hemisphere stimuli, this cause oblivion of the left side field of view.
