What can you say about the smaller planets and their distances from the Sun? (By the way, I don't the subject for this question. It show up for me.)

    The four terrestrial planets, Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars, are all much closer together compared to the distances separating the outer planets (anything beyond mars)

    The smaller planets are closer to the Sun while the larger planets are very far away. Also the smaller planets are made of solids while the larger planets are gas giants made of gas and liquid.
