Many ocean-dwelling animals can use sound waves to communicate with other animals and locate food and obstacles over longer distances than can land-dwelling animals. how is this possible?

    Of course, elephants are known to use low sound waves to communicate far away and bats are known to use echolocation to find prey and avoid obstacles.
