Identify which form of dna analysis is described below. it analyzes genetic markers that are passed from father to son. the fbi utilizes these for their database. it is used when other forms of dna analysis are not possible because it does not rely on nuclear dna. it allows a small amount of dna to be duplicated into a testing amount.

    I believe the DNA described above is the mitochondrial DNA. Mitochondria DNA is the DNA from mitochondria instead of the nucleus. The mitochondrial DNA of the offspring comes from the mother's egg. It is used when other forms of DNA analysis are impossible. DNA technology in Forensics involves DNA fingerprinting process where a DNA sample is analyzed to identify individuals.
