Evolution can be described as the changes which arise in the characteristics of a particular species over time. Evolution is favoured by natural selection. With time, those species which are better adapted to live in an environment are able to survive and pass on their characteristics to their offsprings. The theory of evolution by the means of natural selection was proposed by Charles Darwin which is generally accepted by the world.
