The most essential protective equipment to be worn by the nurse is Sterile gloves. Personal protective equipment refers to protective clothing, helmets, goggles, or other garments or equipment designed to protect the wearer's body from injury or infection. The ppe address hazards such as physical, electrical, heat, chemicals, biohazards, and airborne particulate matter. In this case the sterile gloves serves to protect the nurse from getting contact with infected fluids from the patient.
