The white gene is located on the x chromosome and the cream gene is located on an autosome. bridges reached this conclusion from the result of a mating between red-eyed females (ccaxw+xw-e) and red-eyed males (ccaxw+y). what would have been the outcome of this mating if white and cream were still different genes but both were located on the x chromosome? hint: the female genotype is xw + c xw-e ca and the male genotype is xw + c y.

    The outcome of this mating if white and cream were still different genes but both were located on the x chromosome would have been; Two red eyed females: one red eyed male; one cream eyed male. Crossing or amting a female genotype (Xw+C Xw-e ca, with a male with a genotype of Xw+C Y, would give a red eyed male, a cream eyed male and 2 red eyed females.
