While examining a pond sample, you find an amoeba. as you watch, the organism bulges forward from its main body, creating a sort of foot, and then the cytoplasm flows into the foot, pushing the whole cell forward. this type of movement is controlled by what component of the cytoskeleton?

    The pseudopods or "false foot" of the cytoskeleton may bulge out of the cytoplasm. This bulge is used to create movement amongst the structure. It can also be used for feeding. The structure has to create this false foot in order to move around and get its food.
