    I believe the correct answer is adaptive non-diegetic sounds.

    Non-diegetic sounds refer to background music and sound effects. And if they are adaptive, it means that they adapt to your particular gameplay, but are nonetheless unaffected by your movements or actions and game characters cannot hear them.
