Which best describes the trophic level of an organism?

    The position of an organism in a food chain is known as the trophic level. A food chain is a cycle of organisms that eat another organism and in turn they also are eaten. The very first level are the primary producers, the plants then we the herbivores at level 2. Additionally, at level 3, we have the carnivores that eat herbivores and at the fourth level we have carnivores that with carnivores. Lastly, we have the decomposers which are responsible of converting matter to nutrients then back to the primary producers.
