    Gene therapy

    Explanation:

Gene therapy is designed to introduce and infuse genetic material into cells to compensate for abnormal genes or make new proteins that are beneficial to the host. Gene therapy introduces normal copy of a gene to replace and restore damage genes that resulted from mutations, this process in turn bring back the original function of the particular protein and restores it's functioning.
