Which is correct about electromagnetic and mechanical waves?

Electromagnetic waves occur when a charged particle decelerates, but mechanical waves occur when charged particles

accelerate.

Electromagnetic waves are transverse but mechanical waves are longitudinal.

Electromagnetic waves move much slower than mechanical waves.

A mechanical wave needs a medium for its propagation, but an electromagnetic wave can travel through a vacuum.
