When a cell is placed in this solution water will enter the cell by osmosis causing it to swell?

    Osmosis is the process by which water molecules moves from a region of high concentration to a region of low concentration through a semi-permeable membrane. When a cell is placed in a hypotonic solution water enters the cell osmotically causing to swell. A hypotonic solution is a solution with more solvent than solute.
