    B. The soil is rich in nutrients.

    Explanation:

Grassland is that kind of biome which is neither a forest nor a desert rather in between type. It has grasses which can be a foot or under it all or might reach up to seven feet.

The growth depends on the amount of rainfall received by it. On an average, the grasslands receive between 10-45 centimetres of the annual rainfall. The soil is very fertile due to the underground biome and optimum rainfall but the nutrients gets washed if heavy rainfall occurs.
