Why are submersed aquatic vegetation (sav) beds important to the marine environment?

    Submersed Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) beds are important for marine environment because for waterfowl, they are like a food source and for fish they are their habitat. Submersed Aquatic Vegetation (SAV) are found in shallow areas, they are like grasses and they are important component of shallow water.
