Describe the microscopic structure of skeletal muscle

    The structure is as follows. within a muscle fibre are are sarcomeres. These are made of a thick myosin filament (with myosin) heads sandwiched between (but not completely) four thin actin filaments - two on top two on bottom with a gap between them
