Define population. How is a population different from a community

Population is a number of individuals living in a certain space. Population is usually gathered by states, city's, or country's for a better understanding. A community is a place where people socialize and express their own beliefs and thoughts. We all live in a community unless you are completely isolated from the world.

A population is all the organisms of the same species in a group, like humans. Population is different from a community in that a population is every organism of the species grouped as a whole, and a community is a certain number of organisms within the whole population. That may not make sense, but that's as good as I can describe it.
